My husband and I have spent several short breaks at Watersedge which we have enjoyed immensely. These have all been out of season but so perfect as the house is so well equipped, warm and comfortable. It is in such an idyllic setting and we have absolutely no doubt that summer evenings spent on the deck overlooking the Owengarve river and Clew Bay would be so very memorable. The location of the house is totally perfect as Mulranny, Achill island and Westport are all within easy reach. Mulranny golf course is only minutes away and even closer is Nevin's pub - such wonderful atmosphere and delicious food! Please don't all flock here as we want to go back!!

Our family of 7 had a brilliant week staying at Rossgalive. A beautiful setting, Ideally situated for touring.The house was well fitted out,clean and tastefully decorated. Ample parking. Access to The Greenway cycling track is across the road and gave miles of biking fun. Nevins pub half a mile away, brilliant for food, drink and a the craic. Would definately recommend and will be going again.

We stayed there in August and will be going back again next summer. Great location, within walking distance of the Greenway & Nevin's pub/restaurant where we ate most evenings. Kitchen can cater for a large family if you prefer to eat in. The house was spacious and had plenty of room for our 4 teenagers, though they often preferred to sit out on the deck overlooking the water

We had a really great week staying at this house with our children and my sister over the summer holidays. We made the most of being near the Greenway and rented bikes and a trailer for our little one, we climbed the holy mountain, ate lots of great food and my sister being the most active of us managed to get out fishing, surfing (from nearby Achill) and kayaking around Clew Bay. We all enjoyed a trip to Westport House where the children went on the rides. The best bit was playing cricket in the sunshine on the local beach and then having pints of Guinness overlooking the bay at the bar in Mulranny afterwards. Precious family moments. The house was just what we needed, lots of space, comfy beds, a sociable kitchen that sat 9 of us one night and the best location. We will definitely be back!

As a family of 2+ 4 (7-13yrs), this was a great house for a brilliant week in Mayo. Owners were very helpful. Lots of comfy space and places for R&R in the house. Nice big master bedroom and the kids bunked in the doublebeds in the 2 other rooms. We had great weather, and what a lovely view and setting to have dinner outside on the decking overlooking the inlet as the sun set. There were loads of towels, hot water and heating as needed. Plenty of garden space outside for our kids to play ball or hide and seek. Great location if you want to hide away from it all, while being only a 4 mins drive to Mulranny village.

Spent a week at Water's Edge and would highly recommend. Very easy to contact the owner, communication was easy and friendly. Arrived late but Catherine met us to show us around and left us with milk and wine! Perfect location, a good base within easy reach of Mulranny, Westport, Achill etc. Quiet and private, with wonderful views from the garden and decking. The house is spacious, clean and warm, very nicely furnished and well-equipped. Good Wi-Fi. Great to have 3 large bedrooms and 2 large modern bathrooms, all with good bedding & towels. Lovely large and homely kitchen, perfect for family meals (although Nevin's Newfield Inn was too tempting - great food!). The owner's belongings gave the house a nice lived-in and comfortable feeling but not cluttered or too personal, and plenty of empty wardrobes/drawers. Quickly settled in and very sorry to leave - hope to be back!
